Welcome to the voting information page. Here you will be able to download various forms as well as learning about various options persons with disabilities have when voting in East Brunswick.

Voter Registration

Anyone wishing to register to vote MUST:

  • Be a citizen of the United States
  • Be 18 years of age on or before the election day
  • Have resided in the county at least 30 days
  • Register at least 29 days prior to the election

You must re-register if:

  • You move from one county to another
  • You have a name change due to marriage, divorce or Judgement of Court

Residents may register at the Municipal Clerk's Office Monday through Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm. Application forms for voter registration are available at The Library’s Information Desk.

  • Civilian Absentee Ballot

    Information

    • You must be a registered voter.
    • You will not be permitted to vote at your polling place in the same election.
    • Your absentee Ballot must be received by the County Board of Elections before close of polls on Election Day (8:00pm).
    • You will receive instructions with your Ballot.
    • Your Ballot will be mailed on or after the 40th day prior to Election Day.
    • Do not submit more than one application for the same Election. You must apply for an Absentee Ballot for each Election.

    Warning This application must be received by the County Clerk not later than 7 days prior to the election unless you apply in person or if sick or confined via authorized messenger during County Clerk's office hours to 3:00 pm the day prior to the election.

    Instructions

    1. Fill out application.
    2. Print and sign your name where indicated.
    3. Mail or Deliver application to your County Clerk.

  • Notice of Transfer Have you moved?
    Simply fill out this form and send it to the following address:

  • Voter Declaration of Party Affiliation Click here to notify the county of your political affiliation.
    The deadline for changing Party Affiliation is 50 days before the Primary Election.
