The East Brunswick Office of Emergency Management is responsible for administering a program of Comprehensive Emergency Management, designed to reduce the vulnerability of the citizens of this Township to damage, injury and loss of life and property by providing a system for the MITIGATION of, PREPAREDNESS for, RESPONSE to and RECOVERY from natural or man-made disasters.

The office is responsible for the Township's Emergency Operations Center.
Additionally, the office develops the Emergency Operations Plan for the Township and implements training programs as well as exercises based on this plan to enhance its effectiveness.
