Welcome to Planning and Engineering. The Department of Planning and Engineering is involved in Capital Improvement program development, Civil Engineering, Surveying, Housing, Property Maintenance and Zoning Code Enforcement, and Construction Inspection.

This section is divided into three sub categories much like the department. Each contains the information one would want to find or would find going into the office, including Township codes and forms.

Aside from the above sections, the Department of Planning and Engineering and Division of Construction Inspection has developed a special section called " Ask The Inspector ". Here you will be able to ask the inspectors (building, electrical, fire and plumbing) questions and receive responses via email, fax or phone. Whether you are a resident or contractor this form will allow you to contact the department directly without worrying about calling, being placed on hold and waiting for the right answer. In addition, if your question is common to others using the site, it will be placed on our Frequently Asked Questions page with the response (FAQ coming soon).
