OVERVIEW
Aerobics... crafts & cooking workshops... instructional programs... challenged population programs... summer camp... concerts under the stars... bus trips... special events... family excursions... teen programs... a helping hand.
The Division of Recreation & Community Services is all of this and more. Serving a diverse population, the Division provides a wide variety of programs, services, and activities that enhance the quality of life for all residents. A complete list describing the Division's programs and events can be found in the Recreation, Parks & Community Services Magazine that is mailed to all residents twice a year in mid-February and mid-August.
The Division also provides a limited amount of public assistance in the form of food and care for the sick, elderly, and needy through the Holiday Food and Gift Basket Program administered during the Thanksgiving and Christmas Holiday season.
We are always looking for new ideas, so if you have one please give us a call. If you have suggestions on shows you would like to see or outings you think would be good for families, we'd like to hear from you.
