Motel 6

Three Washington, D.C. residents were arrested Saturday evening outside Motel 6, located on Hwy. 18, when they were found to be in possession of marijuana, ecstasy, Xanax, and morphine. Patrolman Michael Plaskon was patrolling the motel parking lot when he observed 21 year old Michael Cleary holding what he believed to be a bag containing marijuana. When police officers approached Cleary, they retrieved the bag containing the marijuana as well as Xanax pills and a pill suspected to be morphine. During the investigation it was also discovered that 22 year old David Katz and 21 year old Kristopher Woods were both in possession of Ecstasy pills. The three were placed under arrest. Woods and Katz were charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance. Cleary was charged with possession of marijuana under 50 grams and possession of morphine and Xanax without a prescription. All three were released with a court date.
