Police have concluded their investigation into the phoned-in bomb threat to the East Brunswick Vocational and Technical High School on Monday, January 7, 2008. Information developed through the investigation led Detective Eric Raps to identify two suspects. The two boys apparently made the call from a cell phone in an effort to get out of class. The cell phone was then reported stolen to hide the fact that they were responsible for the bomb threat. A 16 year old male from Edison and a 16 year old male from South River were both charged with terroristic threats and creating a false public alarm. Both were later released to parents.
