7/21/2010     5:30 PM
Steve's Trailer Park

On Wednesday, July 21, 2010, at 5:30 PM, police responded to Steve's Trailer Park located at 366, Highway 18, East Brunswick for a report of a vehicle having crashed into one of the trailer homes. Upon arrival officers discovered an unoccupied vehicle with heavy front end damage that had struck one of the trailer units. Witnesses who were present when police arrived pointed out the direction that the driver of the vehicle had run in. Patrolmen Wade Gordon and Paul Jun located the driver, identified as Robert Glogocheski, age 28, from Staten Island, NY, near another trailer home. Mr. Glogocheski had an obvious injury to his left hand and admitted that he was driving the vehicle. He made statements at the scene indicating to the officers that he had driven his vehicle into the trailer home on purpose. The reason for Mr. Glogocheski's actions are still under investigation. Medical aid was called for Mr. Glogocheski and he was placed under arrest and transported to Robert Wood Johnson Hospital for treatment. Glogocheski was later transported to police headquarters and processed on a charge of criminal mischief, as well as motor vehicle charges for DWI, reckless driving, leaving the scene of an accident, and failure to report an accident. Bail was set on Mr. Glogocheski at $2500 and he was transported to the Middlesex County Adult Correctional Center. The trailer that was struck was determined by Township Officials to be unsafe for habitation due to extensive damage. In addition, it was discovered that the vehicle had struck a second trailer unit. The owner of the second trailer was not home at the time of the incident and the extent of damage was unknown at this time.
